Moxshlife Yoga was founded by the Master for today’s generation of seekers, following His spiritual experience, which took place after His encounter with His Gurudev's divine energy.
The Master realized that today most institutions that teach yoga focus merely on physical aspects like fitness and health, recuperating from/or preventing illnesses, etc. They teach very selected, limited aspects of yoga which do not even manage to give holistic physical benefits.
This is because today unfortunately what is being propagated under the name of yoga is only yoga asanas which is just one chapter of one subject in the vast science of Yoga.
That is why, without yoga being properly understood or experienced by the teachers themselves, when it is taught to the masses, this incompetent supervision may cause more harm than gain.
Infact, over time, different practitioners have introduced different variants of yoga asanas (some potentially dangerous – which you can get a glimpse of on various social media platforms), each claiming to be better than the other, and have diluted the original traditional practices.
Most recently those with gymnastic backgrounds are demonstrating perfect asana postures which may be impressive but lack the knowledge or true essence of yoga. Yoga is not about displaying a perfect asana pose. Each individual will practice each asana according to her/her own body type. And for each individual that is the perfect posture. This is because yogic postures are not about the flexibility of the muscles but of the bones.
The Master also says that while one may be able to copy a perfect pose if one doesn’t become one with it, it is futile. For example, if a person comes into a perfect crow pose in the body, but in the mind he is still a monkey, the asana shall have no effect whatsoever. Yoga is about the body and mind becoming ‘one’ in that pose. And that can be learnt only under the guidance and supervision of an authentic and experienced yoga teacher or Master.
On the contrary these gymnastic yoga practitioners focus on creating a new ‘trend’ of yoga and making it more of a fashion rather than a way of life. Due to this the vast science of yoga is not understood and although it is one of the most popular exercise regimes around the world, it has been reduced to just that: an ancient Indian exercise regime. Seeing this regretful state of yoga practice the Master introduced Moxshlife Yoga.
Master’s Gurudev, Swami Sivananda Saraswati, one of the greatest Yogic Gurus of the 21st century, experienced the true form of yoga and brought back the Yoga of Syntheses tradition. Under His divine guidance many gems of disciples were trained who later spread these teachings across the world. Read Master's Tradition
After experiencing and understanding the significance of Yoga of Synthesis from Gurudev’s divine energy the Master has introduced Moxshlife Yoga. Moxshlife Yoga teaches this traditional system of Sivananda Yoga with the experience of yoga from the Master’s own journey and includes significant elements of life, lifestyle and culture which are needed by people today. So, the practice of Moxshlife Yoga takes them on the path towards Moksh and Moxshlife.
The Master’s profound experience of our ancient history in Yogic Science makes the Master have complete trust on our culture, teachings and tradition. He stresses that His teachings in Yoga are sufficient for a practitioner or teacher of yoga to establish himself/herself. Today we need proper training in the science of yoga from an authentic guru shishya parampara/tradition, in the ashram way.
So, Master welcomes those practitioners or seekers who wish to experience authentic Yogic Science, through Moxshlife Yoga which focuses on spiritual development, which is the actual purpose of Yogic Science. It is a divine spiritual yogic path for all yoga practitioners guided by the Master. It focuses on giving a complete yogic experience, including fitness, health, peace of mind, contentment, and YOGA
